There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and are continuing to work Affiliate Marketers today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate jungle.


What are these three tactics?

1 Use Warm up Pages

Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save money on web hosting and design. It is best to have a site focusing on just one single product and nothing more.

Create a Warm Up page which can include product reviews and an explanation of the product so that visitors will have an initial understanding of what the product can do for them. Include testimonials from users who have already tried the product You must ensure that these customers are happy to allow you to use their names and photos on the site.

You can also write articles explaining the benefits of the product and include them as additional pages. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to action. any additional pages should open in a new tab or Window. Each headline should attract the reader’s attention and encourage them to read more. Include a Contact email so they can ask questions, this also builds confidence. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

EVERY Page should have a link to the Vendors sales page and a Call to Action for example

 “Order xyz..product now

When you use Warm up pages visitors are more likely to perceive that you are offering them Information, rather than just selling to them.

2 Set up a Squeeze Page

.Use a Squeeze Page with a free offer related to the product and a sign-up form to your list. Create an autoresponder follow up sequence. The first message should be the thank you message for ordering the free product and contain the link to the Download/Thank You page. As well as the Download link also include a link to your Warm up Page and ensure your visitors are taken there on leaving even if they have not clicked the link. Next there should be a sequence of at least seven messages, each one selling the product from a different angle and covering the main points of your Warm Up page. Don’t forget to include the link to the vendors sales page with a message like “you can buy xyz product here, and a link to your Warm up Page which says “more information here”. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect. Send these messages out DAILY over 7 Days.

Set up your Squeeze Page so that when visitors leave the page they are taken to your Warm up page even if they have not submitted the form.

remember, you are Affiliate Marketers, the whole object of all this is to get your Visitor to the Vendors sales Page. The rest is up to the Vendor.

3 Affiliate Marketers thrive on Traffic.

Send Traffic to your squeeze page. Nowhere else, just the squeeze Page. Use paid traffic, free traffic or a mixture of both but you must ensure it is Targeted to your product. If the visitors have no interest the offer they will not buy, and you will have wasted your time and money.

With a typical conversion rate of just one or two percent you need to send a lot of traffic to get a decent return on your investment of Time and Money. The better your targeting the better the chance of a profit.

Finally, don’t fall into the trap of thinking that if the offer is good enough the traffic will just happen automatically. That is simply not going to happen. Unless of course you can get Donald Trump to accidentally put a link in his Twitter messages.
